Functional control

According to technical regulations for Bane NOR, functional control shall be performed of all new signalling systems and after modifications of existing ones. We offer independent execution of function control with personnel certified by Bane NOR as test leaders (“Sluttkontrollør F”).

Functional control of signaling systems shall prove correct installation and functionality of trackside objects and correct interconnection with interlocking equipment in accordance with site documentation and requirements in technical regulations and requirements specifications.

Functional control shall be performed by personnel certified as test leaders (“Sluttkontrollør F”) and the scope of the control is:

1. Verification of documentation
2. Approval of the installation control
3. Mechanical and electrical control of trackside objects
4. Functional control of trackside objects

The functional control is documented in the site documentation and in specific protocols with associated checklists and measurements.

We undertake complete assignments of all sizes. We often participate from an early stage in the project, so that we can contribute to the planning of the work and necessary documentation. This also enables us to perform a more efficient control.

We assist with setting requirements to and to verify documentation from installation and installation control, so surprises and extensive documentation work can be avoided afterwards.
